Violet's First Halloween

My daughter Violet is nearly 16 months old.  She is the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me and I love her more than I could ever articulate.  I did attempt a "Mommy Blog" when she was a few months old, but I quickly realized that I like writing about the consistency, color and shape of my daughter's poop as much as people like to read about it.  Don't get me wrong, I find it fascinating and it is a great topic of discussion in my home, but strangers could give a shit (a-thankya *bows*).  I have a passion for parenting and I love it, but I don't want to write about it, so that blog was abandoned. 

But that doesn't mean I can't brag about my kid on the internet!  I present to you, Violet's First Halloween!

Hehehe...she was a pumpkin!  I got this costume second-hand at a tiny little shop in Downtown Anoka called The Golden Giraffe for $5.00! 

I tried my hardest to get an iconic Halloween picture of the pumpkin and the black cat, but neither one of them were playing ball. 

We went trick-or-treating in my mom's neighborhood and she made a haul!  And I got to eat it all!  Woot!
